Heavy Plastic Manufacturing

Our focus on heavy plastic manufacturing for infrastructure allows us to provide durable and sustainable solutions for various applications.

Engineering the Future with Advanced Thermoplastics
that redefines durability, sustainability, and performance in water and wastewater utility infrastructure. Our systems are built using High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Polypropylene (PP) - materials chosen for their exceptional corrosion-resistance, structural integrity, and environmental advantages.

Why Heavy Plastics?

Unlike traditional materials like concrete and steel, engineered plastics provide unmatched flexibility, corrosion-resistance, and reduced installation costs. They last longer, require less maintenance, and perform better in extreme environments.

  • Lightweight for easier handling and reduced transport costs
  • Non-corrosive and ideal for wet or chemically aggressive environments
  • Fast, modular installation reduces labor needs
  • Long lifespan with minimal maintenance
  • Carbon footprint is less than similar systems made of concrete or steel

Manufacturing Capabilities

Extrusion-Based Manufacturing

Extrusion-based manufacturing is at the core of our ability to produce structurally robust cylindrical components – the foundational elements for:

We use custom steel mandrels of varying diameters and lengths to produce cylinders with:

  • Variable wall thicknesses
  • Custom diameters and heights
  • Seamless, continuous wall structures

Structural Panel Fabrication

A key component of our rectangular structure manufacturing is the use of mass-produced hollow core structural panels made from HDPE and PP. These panels feature:

  • Internal cell structures (50mmx50mm) for high strength-to-weight performance
  • Excellent rigidity and impact resistance
  • Closed-cell design that prevents moisture or dirt ingress, even when cut

We integrate hollow core panels with solid sheet plastic panels to fabricate:

Fabrication & Welding

Heavy plastics manufacturing at INFRASTRUCTURE DYNAMICS combines automated-precision systems with custom manual fabrication to deliver high-performance infrastructure solutions. We utilize a range of advanced fabrication technologies, including:

  • Manual extrusion welding using tools from manufacturers like Wegener and Ritmo, enabling detailed, high-integrity welds on HDPE and PP components
  • CNC routers for precision machining of custom and standard parts
  • CNC butt fusion systems for joining solid and hollow core panels with consistent, high-strength welds
  • CNC saws for accurate and efficient cutting of flat sheet materials

This hybrid approach allows us to:

  • Detail out complex assemblies with precision and repeatability
  • Adapt to project-specific requirements with flexible manual finishing
  • Maintain high quality standards across both standardized and custom components

Our commitment to heavy plastic manufacturing for infrastructure ensures that we meet the evolving needs of the industry.
